1:1 Supports
Community Participation
Supports designed to help you connect with your community and participate in a wide range of social and recreational activities. We work closely with you to identify interests, strengths and goals, then develop tailored plans to support participation in activities such as sports, music, art and volunteering. Build confidence and self-esteem, establish meaningful relationships and connections.
Travel and Transport
We support you to get around and provide reliable transport when you’re out in the community. This includes transportation to medical appointments, social and recreational activities, or work or education-related events. Lead a more fulfilling life with accessible transport when you need it.
Skills Building
We provide training, coaching, and mentoring to help our clients build their confidence and self-esteem and achieve their full potential. Our capacity building supports are tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. Whether it’s daily living skills, communication, social skills or employment skills development, we provide the tools needed to reach your full potential in life.

What support can you provide?
We offer a range of support services tailored to your needs, including personal care, community access, household tasks, transport and capacity-building skills to live an independent life. Our experienced team works closely with you and your family to develop a plan that supports all the goals you have in life.
Will I have the same support team consistently?
Yes, we understand the importance of consistency in disability support services, and we’re committed to providing a team that you can rely on. We carefully match our support workers with our clients based on personality, goals, and support needs. Once in place, your team becomes part of your close trusted network.
What if I don't have NDIS funding yet?
If you don’t yet have NDIS funding, we still encourage you to get in touch with us to discuss your support needs. Our friendly team can guide you through the process of accessing NDIS funding and help you take the next steps. We’re here to help you achieve your goals, regardless of whether you currently have NDIS funding or not.
What is the process for developing a care plan?
We conduct a thorough assessment to identify your strengths, challenges, and preferences, and work with you to develop a plan that maximises your potential and supports you to achieve your goals.
The plan will outline the services and supports that you will receive, as well as the frequency and duration of those supports. We will review and update your care plan regularly with you to ensure that it remains relevant and effective in supporting you to live your best life.
Do I get to choose my support worker?
Yes, at Greenland Care, we believe that it’s important for our participants to have choice and control in choosing their support team. That’s why we work with you to understand your needs and preferences, and match you with a support worker who is a good fit for you. Together, we consider factors like personality, experience, language and availability to ensure that you receive the best possible support.
How do you ensure quality of support?
Ensuring the quality of our support is a top priority at Greenland Care. We’re committed to continuous improvement, which means we’re always looking for ways to enhance our services and provide the best possible service. We encourage feedback from our participants and their families, as this helps us to identify areas for improvement and ensure that we are meeting industry-leading standards.
I need a translator. Can you help?
Yes, we can arrange for a translator to be present during your meetings with us. We want to make sure that everyone can access and understand our services, so we also match you with a support team you can communicate with comfortably and easily.
